I am a massage therapist of 20 years, a wife a mother of two children, world traveler, nature lover and a zero waste and sustainable lifestyle advocate. I was raised on the Puget Sound and have lived all over the United States and traveled around the world and the Puget Sound is where I returned to raise my family.
I began a zero waste lifestyle journey more than 20 years ago and over the years friends and family asked me to share how our family lives and thus One Glass Jar was formed. I now enjoy teaching zero waste lifestyle classes around the Pacific Northwest, blogging about our lifestyle and sharing with the world how we as a family we strive for a zero waste lifestyle.
I am encouraged and excited to see the way in witch a zero waste lifestyles has created groups and communities that exchange ideas on this zero waste journey. The way zero waste lifestyle is becoming the norm in daily conversations is so inspiring.
I hope this blog inspires you to change a few things in your daily life. Because if we all start making little changes, like using “one glass jar” instead of a plastic bag, bigger things can change.
Thanks for being part of this journey.
